Ladera Community Church participates in the “God is Still Speaking” initiative of our United Church of Christ denomination. We support the campaign’s message, “No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
This national outreach effort is designed to spread a welcoming message to people who feel excluded by other church organizations or do not have a spiritual home.
The UCC denomination, now 50 years old, holds five historic commitments:
- united and uniting
- multiracial and multicultural
- accessible to all
- open and affirming
- a peace with justice church.
