Children

Under the watchful eye and guiding hand of our teaching staff, children age 4 and under are introduced to the Bible and to Jesus.

The young children participate in music, story time, art and play. Through play, they learn to share, to be kind, to explore their feelings and to think of others, which are all vital to a young child’s faith development. They learn through experience that each child is a child of God.

A credentialed preschool teacher and mother is the teacher for this age group. Our high school youth assist her with the children each week.

Parents are invited to attend class with their child.

Special Programs

On the first Saturday in December, we hold an “Angel Breakfast” for children 2 1/2 through kindergarten. This program is designed to introduce young children to the meaning of Christmas. The story of Jesus is presented through crafts, music and storytelling. Parents or other adults share breakfast and fellowship with the children.

The annual Christmas Eve Pageant encourages even our youngest children to participate.
