Statement of Purpose
The first purpose of Ladera Community Church Christian education program is for the children to come to know the Christian story and to make it their own.
We encourage the children to find a personal faith that will carry them through all of life's challenges.
Our second purpose is to make this worship community a place where children not only feel included, but a vital part of the total life of the church.
In order to present the faith story, we work with the families, since we believe that the family unit is the primary educational instrument in the Christian faith.
We hope that the children who pass through our program will see the church community as a body of believers in Jesus Christ, son of God, who are open and affirming of all the children of God.
