Youth

Senior High - Grades 9 - 12 

Under the skilled leadership of our staff and volunteers, Ladera Church teenagers are continuing to form their faith. Through meditation and teaching younger children in Sunday morning classes, this age group is given faith skills to assist them in everyday life. Their leadership is found also in singing in the church choir and writing and conducting entire worship services.

A further opportunity for faith formation occurs when youth at Ladera help with special missions, such as feeding the homeless and collecting school supplies for InnVision, and raising money for a water well in Africa.

Special Programs 
Friday Night Live – an intergenerational dinner with fun and fellowship held monthly, where the youth are active participants in planning and implementing programs and entertainment.

Christmas Pageant – an annual Christmas Eve Pageant, whereby all children from tots to teens are encouraged to participate.

Communion - children and youth participate in this ritual, as the Lord’s Table is welcome to all.

Confirmation – Confirmation class is offered approximately every other year. Through classwork, service and meeting with a mentor, students experience the Christian faith as it leads toward church membership.
