June - Food Drive (all month)
A Service of Healing

Every June LCC invites the local community to join us in a non-perishable food drive to supplement those lean times at the food pantries. We look not just for ways to serve, but also where can we be the most effective. Helping our neighbors avoid hunger helps all of us be part of a caring society. Matthew 22:39 “Love your neighbor as yourself”

August 1-14
"LifeMoves" Supplies Drive,

LCC and InnVision Shelter Network (now “LifeMoves”) have shared a long, 20 year relationship. The School Supply Drive helps support over 300 families who use their services. We believe in leveling the playing field, so all children can start the school year prepared. The local community is invited to share in this belief by filling the barrels we provide at Church.

Satuday, September 17 from 9:00 am - noon
Coastal Clean-up Day

LCC and Baylands FrontRunners join forces in this hands-on creation caring project. This international cleanup day gives us the opportunity to connect with the Earth to make a difference and to connect with our LGBT sisters and brothers, accepting them as they are just as God accepts all of us.

Adopt-a-Family Gift Drive

Working through Ecumenical Hunger Program in East Palo Alto, LCC and the LCC Preschool provide a Christmas celebration for families and singles who would not have one otherwise. Through gifts and gift cards for groceries, we share the abundance in our lives, knowing that God freely shares love with all.

Every 2nd Sunday from 11:00 - 2:00 pm
Maple St. Shelter Lunch Program

Maple St. Shelter, an InnVision Shelter Network (now “LifeMoves”) program, houses the homeless and veterans who are all seeking employment and housing. Every 2nd Sunday we gather in our meeting hall to prepare lunches for the Maple St. residents and ourselves. We don’t just deliver the lunches, but join them for a sit down meal, sharing the sustenance and the camaraderie that a meal provides. We welcome all who want to join us in this program.

Actively practicing Christianity. Come join us!
