Special Concert to Benefit People of Haiti
A Gift of Love benefit concert for the people of Haiti. will be performed in the sanctuary of Ladera Community Church on Sunday, February 28, at 4:00 p.m. by The Franzen Vocal Studio for its Opera at Ladera series. The group will feature music from Opera, Operetta, Musical Theater and Popular Repertoire. A free-will offering will be collected at the door. Special 40-day Meditation Period
Imagine people around the world with a single purpose - to create peace in their lives that reaches everywhere. The 2010 Winter Feast for the Soul, a 40-day worldwide spiritual practice period, starts this Friday, January15, and runs through February 23. The Feast is for people of all faiths, and has grown to a worldwide event.
Ladera Community Church, Portola Valley, is hosting morning meditations each Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the 40-days: 7:45 a.m. Centering Music; 8:00 a.m. Guided Meditation and Closing Circle, Fireside Room. Monthly Calendar.
